DOUGLAS DEAN

trained as an actor with the acclaimed C.a.T Repertory Theatre Company from 1991-94 and has an extensive list of credits in professional theatre, including a seven-month UK tour in the role of Jimmy Porter in Look Back in Anger . He has also worked for a number of leading children's theatre companies as an actor and writer. He has performed every year since 1997 at the prestigious Pendley Summer Shakespeare Festival and this August will be playing Benedick in "Much Ado About Nothing" . Douglas works consistently as a voice-over artist, both in the UK and Italy . Later this year he can be seen in a small (blink and you'll miss him) role in an episode of the new HBO/BBC series Rome . This is not the first time Doug has worked with the company; in 2001 he played Mr. Biscotti in "Un Italo-Americano a Roma" , which combined comic sketches with improvisation, in 2004 in the leading role of Mathiue in the Italian premier of "15 Seconds"  the Award winning play by François Archambault and most recently as Max from Katherine Kressman Taylor's "Address Unknown".
