ELENA CAVANI obtained her Acting degree at the "Accademia D'Arte Drammatica" Pietro Scharoffî. Teaching experience include working with students on acting at the ìVittorio Gasmannîhigh school. She founded an Italian Acting company entitled ìIl sorpassoî in 2002. She has since worked as an actress in the production ìLe favole di La Fontaineî, as an assistant scene designer and author in the play ìla stagione dellíamoreî. Some of her most inspired theatrical performances have been working with Giuliano Carlo, Nick Nocivelli, Calogero Marchese, and with Umberto Francia. She moved on to experience both the production and artistic side of and Film and commercials with Fox Productions by working as an assistant director to Kate Favilli in Florence.
