MOLLY ZIMMELMAN

Originally from San Francisco, Molly moved to Rome in 2010 after graduating from the New School University in New York City with a Liberal Arts degree in Theater and Psychology. She was involved in the New York theater scene in a variety of capacities, as director, actor, stage-manager, lighting director, and production assistant. From 2007-2008 she worked as Production Coordinator for the Barrow Street Theatre, a renowned Off-Broadway venue in Greenwich Village. In 2009 she studied theater in London with Marina Calderone. Molly is thrilled to be making her American Theater of Rome directing debut with the world premier of The End is Nigh-- a showcase of original monologues written and performed by her creative and dynamic ensemble cast!
